ECOA CODES
A: Authorized user

C: Joint account
​
I: Individual account
​
J: Joint account
​
M: Owner of a cosigned
account aka the maker
​
S: Co-signer of an account
​
T: Terminated account
​
U: Undesignated
​
X: Deceased
MOP RATINGS
0: Unrated
​
1: Current account
​
2: 30 days late
​
3: 60 days late
​
4: 90 days late
​
5: 120+ days late
​
7: Bankruptcy
​
8: Repossession or foreclosure
​
9: Collection, charge-off or profit and loss

Why don't I see some of these ON THE CREDIT REPORT?
Depending on your credit report layout you may or may not see some or all of these codes. Knowing what to look at will help you to identify what type of account a tradeline is, who the account belongs to and the status. Making it easier for you to read the report.
